サンドイッチブレッド(約30cm)1本を8等分に厚くカットし、卵、牛乳、砂糖とバニラエッセンスを溶き混ぜた中に、丸1日じっくりと浸け込みます。お客様のご注文をいただいたら、低めのオーヴンで全面に焼き色がつくまでふっくらと焼きあげること7～8分。(ここが決め手。焼き色が悪いとすぐしぼんでしまい、ぷるんとした食感のおいしさを味わえません。) そして、メイプルシロップを添えて提供いたします。
朝食のメニューとして大変高い評価をいただき、リピーター客をつくりだして当ホテルの代表的なメニューとなりました。また、「このフレンチトーストは、世界一」と絶賛された外国の元首もいらっしゃいます。
